Research and Development
Our SoyaWax products are produced from sustainable agricultural resources to replace non-renewable petroleum waxes.
For the past 16 years, our company has manufactured natural candles and natural soy candle wax products for bulk shipment to other candle manufacturers.
SoyaWax International is now engaged in research for application of SoyaWax in the food industry. We are developing soy wax products to replace petroleum wax to be utilized as coating for fresh produce such as apples and cucumbers. Wax cheese casings can now be made with soy wax rather than petroleum wax. Soy wax can also provide an environmentally and economically preferable method to coat meat boxes, fish cartons and wax paper wraps for the restaurant industry.
Our long term goal is to provide a SoyaWax replacement for every petroleum wax. This would include waxes for industrial application such as metal mold casting and industrial bonding materials.
We are entering into a major global market shift from petroleum based products over to bio-based/plant derived products. SoyaWax is on the cutting edge of this product paradigm change.
